Latest DUI numbers released for U.S. Army Alaska

Fort Richardson (81)

4th Brigade Combat Team (Airborne), 25th Infantry Division

June 22 – Spc. Gordon Bourgerie, Headquarters and Headquarters Company, was stopped in Anchorage on Northern Lights Boulevard by the Anchorage Police Department for suspected DUI. Bourgerie, 22, performed poorly when administered the Standardized Field Sobriety Tests and registered a BRAC of 0.082 percent.

July 2 – Pvt. Kip Lynch, Headquarters and Headquarters Company, was stopped on Fort Richardson on D Street near Dyea Avenue by the military police for suspected DUI. Lynch, 19, performed poorly when administered the Standardized Field Sobriety Tests and registered a BRAC of 0.178 percent.

1st Battalion, 501st Parachute Infantry Regiment

July 2 – Sgt. Tyler Mahoney, Headquarters and Headquarters Company, was stopped in Anchorage on 36th Avenue near Denali Street by the Anchorage Police Department for suspected DUI. Mahoney, 23, performed poorly when administered the Standardized Field Sobriety Tests and registered a BRAC of 0.150 percent. 

July 9 – Spc. Sean Black, C Company, was stopped at the Elmendorf Air Force Base Boniface Gate by the Elmendorf security forces for suspected DUI. Black, 22, performed poorly when administered the Standardized Field Sobriety Tests and registered a BRAC of 0.079 percent.

2nd Battalion, 377th Parachute Field Artillery Regiment

June 15 – Staff Sgt. Jimmie Cromartie, A Battery, was stopped in Anchorage near the corner of Debarr Road and Norman Street by the Anchorage Police Department for suspected DUI. Cromartie, 36, failed the Standardized Field Sobriety Tests and registered a BRAC of 0.173 percent.

3rd Battalion, 509th Parachute Infantry Regiment

July 3 – Sgt. Justin Collins, B Company, was stopped in Anchorage near the corner of Fourth Avenue and Barrow Street by the Anchorage Police Department for suspected DUI. Collins, 23, failed the Standardized Field Sobriety Tests and registered a BRAC of 0.122 percent.

725th Brigade Support Battalion

June 14 – Spc. Brian Yearicks, E Company, was stopped in Anchorage on Sixth Avenue by the Anchorage Police Department for suspected DUI. Yearicks, 24, performed poorly when administered the Standardized Field Sobriety Tests and registered a BRAC of 0.075 percent.

July 6 – Spc. John Debarry, E Company, was stopped at Elmendorf Air Force Base’s Boniface Gate by the Elmendorf security forces for suspected DUI. Debarry, 26, performed poorly when administered the Standardized Field Sobriety Tests and registered a BRAC of 0.161 percent.

July 12 – Sgt. Eric McBride, F Company, was stopped on Fort Richardson’s Gulkana Drive by military police for suspected DUI. McBride, 29, performed poorly when administered the Standardized Field Sobriety Tests and registered a BRAC of 0.123 percent.

July 13 – Pvt. Maheli Alers, F Company, was stopped at Elmendorf Air Force Base’s Boniface Gate by the Elmendorf security forces for suspected DUI. Alers, 20, performed poorly when administered the Standardized Field Sobriety Tests and registered a BRAC of 0.040 percent.

July 13 – Spc. Brandon Ovalle, D Company, was stopped in Anchorage on Elmore Road by the Anchorage Police Department for suspected DUI. Ovalle, 22, performed poorly when administered the Standardized Field Sobriety Tests and registered a BRAC of 0.042 percent.

725th Brigade Support Battalion

June 14 – Spc. Brian Yearicks, E Company, was stopped in Anchorage on Sixth Avenue by the Anchorage Police Department for suspected DUI. Yearicks, 24, performed poorly when administered the Standardized Field Sobriety Tests and registered a BRAC of 0.075 percent.

July 6 – Spc. John Debarry, E Company, was stopped at Elmendorf Air Force Base’s Boniface Gate by the Elmendorf security forces for suspected DUI. Debarry, 26, performed poorly when administered the Standardized Field Sobriety Tests and registered a BRAC of 0.161 percent.

July 12 – Sgt. Eric McBride, F Company, was stopped on Fort Richardson’s Gulkana Drive by military police for suspected DUI. McBride, 29, performed poorly when administered the Standardized Field Sobriety Tests and registered a BRAC of 0.123 percent.

July 13 – Pvt. Maheli Alers, F Company, was stopped at Elmendorf Air Force Base’s Boniface Gate by the Elmendorf security forces for suspected DUI. Alers, 20, performed poorly when administered the Standardized Field Sobriety Tests and registered a BRAC of 0.040 percent.

864th Engineer Battalion

July 6 – Sgt. Nicolas Henry, C Company, was stopped in Anchorage on the Seward Highway near Huffman Road by the Anchorage Police Department for suspected DUI. Henry, 26, performed poorly when administered the Standardized Field Sobriety Tests and registered a BRAC of 0.181 percent.

Fort Wainwright (38)

1st Stryker Brigade Combat Team, 25th Infantry Division

June 28 – Pvt. Bryan Daleiden, Rear Detachment, was stopped in the Fort Wainwright Visitor Center parking lot by the military police for suspected DUI. Daleiden, 24, failed the Standardized Field Sobriety Tests and registered a BRAC of 0.186 percent.

2nd Battalion, 8th Field Artillery Regiment

June 29 – Pvt. John Landini, B Battery, was stopped on Fort Wainwright at the intersection of Gaffney and Meridian roads by the military police for suspected DUI. Landini, 19, failed the Standardized Field Sobriety Tests and registered a BRAC of 0.135 percent.
