Notice of Intent

Preparation of Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) for Resuming Year-Round Live-Fire Training at Eagle River Flats, Fort Richardson, Alaska

The Army is preparing an EIS to assess the potential impacts associated with resuming year-round live-fire weapons training at Eagle River Flats Impact Area, Fort Richardson.

A public scoping meeting is scheduled for September 6, 2007 from 5:00 to 8:00 pm at the Sheraton Hotel, 401 East 6th Ave, Anchorage. A presentation will be given at 6:30.

Submittal of comments must be received no later than September 19, 2007. For further information contact:
